LUKE 1977 is a brand founded in 2001 by the newly graduated Central St Martins graduate Luke Ropper. From an early age he was famous for his passion for sewing and design. Obtaining financial assistance from a friend of the family, Simon Poole, has created a brand whose goal was to conquer the clothing market in Great Britain.   LUKE 1977 is a practical interpretation of contemporary men's clothing having all the elements of a modern boy, gentleman, working-class hero and a bit of a villain. Native Birmingham, which is one of the largest industrial centers in Great Britain, has a strong impact on the brand. LUKE 1977 proposes a mix of functional and elegant clothing, leaving a neat, urban look.   The LUKE 1977 brand offers two lines - every day and sports - so everyone can find something for themselves. One of the biggest successes in the brand's history was the contract with the ASTON VILLA football club, thanks to which LUKE 1977 became the team's technical sponsor for the 2018/19 season. Since the 19/20 season, the brand has been responsible for casual and formal clothes for the staff and footballers. In Poland, one of the few stores that provides the LUKE 1977 range is clobber.pl.
